Cancer of the Uterus
Cancer of the uterus, the place in the female reproductive system where the embryo (fertilized egg) develops into a fetus, can start developing in the uterusıs endometrial lining, from where it can metastasize to other reproductive organs. Uterine cancer usually occurs in women between 50 and 70 years of age (usually after menopause). It represents the most common cancer of the female reproductive system and the fourth most common cancer among women. Two thirds of women with cervical cancer are expected to survive; 90 percent of them will live if the tumor is detected early in its development.

Cervical Cancer
The cervix is located in the lower end of the uterus (female reproductive system) and cervical cancer is the second most common form of cancer in women, especially women between 35 and 55 years of age). Eighty-five percent of cervical cancer cases will form in the skin-like cells covering the outside of the cervix, where it is slow growing. From there it can attack the interior areas of the cervix, including the small blood and lymphatic vessels. It can also metastasize (spread) to other body areas.

Cancer of the Ovaries
The ovaries are responsible for producing and releasing eggs, the essential function of the female reproductive system. A tumor on the ovaries is the third most common female reproductive cancer, but causes the most deaths among women diagnosed with cancer of the female reproductive system. It is most common after menopause in women between ages 50 and 70, who can develop almost a dozen different types of ovarian cancer, depending on what kinds of cells are affected by a tumor.
